Wow, this year has been incredibly fruitful. Thanks to my therapy, I had the chance to review my life, reassess my priorities, and focus not on doing more, but on doing what truly matters to me.
Welcome to my 2024 Year in Review. ✍
Work
This year I have several goals on my role
- Continue supporting Crocoblock affiliates;
- Organize my small team to manage Community, Partners, and Events more efficiently;
- Partner with valuable brands for our clients;
- Maintain social media profiles to keep our community informed;
- Organize three major events.
So, how did it all go? Honestly, I’m amazed at how much we accomplished and how many new ideas we’ve got lined up for 2025.
Team Lead
I still don’t think of myself as a traditional manager – feel more like a companion or mentor.
My goal has been to help my team feel comfortable, appreciated, and supported while improving our workflows.
This year, we welcomed a new Community Manager, Victoria. Finally, we have someone fully dedicated to making our community members feel welcome and managing spam and AI-generated content in our groups.
We’ve also customized our workflows with Nikki, our Content Manager. While I didn’t get much of a chance to work closely with Julia, our YouTube wizard, I’m planning to change that next year. ツ
Partnerships
This year, I shifted slightly away from partnerships to wrap up my experience in a way that others can benefit from. As a result, I completed a free eBook, which you can download here.
Even with my shifted focus, I managed to send over 1,000 emails and, together with Nikki, completed 208 collaborations (inclusions, guest posts, and more).
I also contributed my story to HeroPress and launched my personal blog to organize my thoughts.
Events
🙈We sponsored for the first time WordCamp Europe in Torino, local WordCamp Grinon in Spain, and held for the second time our WordPress Agency Summit.
Social media
This year, we:
⚡Published 105 videos together with the team.
⚡Almost 1K posts across various social media platforms.
⚡Launched Discord community for our Clients, thanks to Victoria.💙
Personal
I’m proud of myself this year. I’ve finished taking the medication that helped me manage depression, and while a lot of progress has been made, there’s still plenty ahead.
I read 41 books this year, but I’ve decided not to focus on numbers going forward. Tracking the quantity only makes me more anxious, and I want to enjoy reading without pressure.
My personal blog has been an invaluable tool for organizing my thoughts. I launched #HowAreYouWeekly to reflect each week, and I’m excited to continue this practice next year.
Wrap up
2024 was a year of personal and work progress. I’m excited to carry this energy into 2025.
Here’s to keeping the focus on what really matters and slow down to not forget about reflection.🎁
Thank you for being with me this year! 🙌
💙Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! 💙
