This month, I focused more on adding content rather than introducing new elements. However, I still ended up adding a few new pages and categories. ✨😁
Backup
Earlier, community members recommended keeping a locally stored backup of my site, so I made this a priority.
I also created a Google document where I store all my articles before publishing. I’m really enjoying the new tabs feature in Google Docs – it makes organizing my work so much easier!

New page – My balance
The “My balance” page has been part of my plans from the beginning. The idea is to gather everything that inspires and helps me – things I love that aren’t directly related to work or WordPress. 💙
I haven’t designed this page yet because I’m still figuring out how I want it to look and feel.
That’s why I decided to start with the core content and write down the basics first:
#1 Created Mental Health custom post type
#2 Added taxonomies such as: #HowAreYouWeekly, Traveling, Books, and Mental Health.
#3 I also added these categories to the menu for better navigation:
Articles
This month, I:
- Launched the #HowAreYouWeekly series and posted two issues.
- Wrote my 2024 Year in Review.
- Reflected on the WordCamp Grinon event.
- Shared a short story about my trip to Madrid.
What’s Next?
Here are my tasks for the coming months:
☐ Design the structure of the My Balance page.
☐ Create unique structure/view for the single pages of each My balance page category, as I see each category having a distinct look and feel.
☐ Design template images for my posts (my sister is experimenting with design courses, so we plan to collaborate on this).
☐ Write a post about my top books of 2024.
☐ Create a Contact page (this is already in progress but not finished yet).
☐ Launch WordPress news page.
☐Think about my newsletter.
What would you like to see first? Your comments help me prioritize these tasks. 💙
