What motivates you in your work?
For many years, my motivation came from the usual sources: interesting tasks, a good team, paycheck, and a sense of being helpful. These were important, and they still are.
But recently, I realized there’s something even more powerful that keeps me energized and inspired every day – the community and our partners.

When Motivation Comes from People
There’s something incredibly moving about the messages I receive – not just about work, but from real people, with real stories.
- “You’re fast like a rocket!”
- “Thanks for setting up this partnership!”
- “You’re the best.”
They’re short, simple phrases – but behind them is genuine connection. In our conversations, it often feels like we’re talking human to human, not business to client. It’s not just about tasks or transactions – it’s about mutual support.
Sometimes, people share a small glimpse into their personal lives: a photo of their pet, a family moment, or just something they felt like sending. Occasionally, they express heartfelt support for Ukraine, especially in difficult times. 💙
These things don’t come from AI or automation – they come from real emotions.
And every time, it touches me. Sometimes it’s heartbreaking, sometimes it makes me smile. But every time, it reminds me why I care so much about what I do.
Building with the Community in Mind
When I joined Crocoblock, I discovered one of its greatest assets: a vibrant, kind, and deeply engaged community. Their energy and honesty helped me generate ideas faster, act with more confidence, and stay motivated – even on tough days.
I started with simply sharing community-created videos and guides. Everyone who helps promote Crocoblock products or educates others about them is a gem to us.
To support creators even more, we built a Community Playlist to collect all the amazing, community-driven content in one place:

Naturally, I wanted to amplify their efforts and make sure the most helpful resources reach as many people as possible.
Streamlining Community content
I was never a big Facebook fan, but I knew we needed to make our community space easier to navigate.
That’s when the Facebook Guides feature came in handy. We started organizing updates, milestones, and helpful posts into categories:
👉 Crocoblock Community Learning Content – visible only for community members, so you can join here
Then I asked myself: What more can we do for the community?
So I started analyzing what tools they use, what they need, and what content could help them thrive. And from there, we built real collaborations.
One of my favorite examples is the Croco Tracker – a hub for partner discounts, giveaways, and useful resources we curated for Christmas:

Turning Feedback into Action
We’ve also invested heavily in making our documentation and video tutorials as practical and easy to follow as possible.
The key? Constant feedback. We gather community suggestions and turn them into actionable improvements. That’s exactly how Croco Academy was born:

What Truly Drives Me
What motivates me most?
It’s seeing someone post a new video case study or share feedback – not because they’re being paid, but because they genuinely want to contribute.
That kind of authentic support is incredibly meaningful.
Even our sponsored content is created with the community in mind first. Our creators share honest reviews only – we never ask them to sugarcoat things.
This helps our product grow in the right direction and ensures we never sacrifice audience trust for the sake of “perfect” feedback.
Real insights are far more valuable than scripted praise 😉
As a team, we can describe how a feature is supposed to work, or explain what should be possible. But we never fully know what challenges each user might face in real-life scenarios.
That’s why honest feedback – especially when it includes detailed experiences or unexpected use cases – is priceless.
Sometimes, we tell a client: “That setup might not work the way you hope.” But a few days later, they come back and say:
“Actually, I figured it out – and it works!”
And that’s when we realize – our plugins offer endless possibilities, often uncovered not by us, but by the creativity and persistence of our users.
These real stories often go far beyond what we imagined in documentation or product planning.
They push our understanding, challenge our assumptions, and help us improve – not by theory, but through authentic experience.
A New Chapter for Community Management
After years of being hands-on with the community, I’ve now stepped back a little from daily management.
I’m happy to say we now have a dedicated Community Manager, Victoria is doing a fantastic job creating new spaces – like our Discord server – and staying active across YouTube, Reddit, and Facebook.
Being helpful has always been our top priority, and it’s what continues to fuel the community’s growth.
In Conclusion
Community feedback, direct messages from partners, and creator-made tutorials have become the core of my daily work motivation. It’s not just about doing tasks – it’s about building something valuable together.
Thank you to everyone who shares, creates, and contributes. You are my inspiration. 💛
